There was a lot of Spider-Person representation in this movie, but I feel like they could have leaned into it even further. Every single character should have had spider powers. Instead of cars? Giant spiders. Miles wouldn’t go to school, but a Kafka-esque amalgamation of the American education system and- you guess it spiders. The dialogue and voice acting was excellent, but it would have been more appropriate for the tone of the movie to have actual spiders doing the voices.
